External-Wall-Insulation-Reduces-Heat-Loss

Up to 45% of a homes heat can be lost through poorly insulated walls.

External Wall Insulation is a modern and advanced method that is estimated to save buildings losing 45% of their heat, mostly those that are constructed from brick, solid masonry, and concrete. Jettco Drywall Ltd has installed various systems from major providers and have specialised trained Weber installers that are able to install high performance EWI systems that are recommended by the Energy Saving Trust.  These systems will reduce properties carbon emissions and save energy costs, prolonging the life of existing properties, all of which is essential in our current environmental and economic climate. After assessing the site for damp proofing, recessed areas (to prevent condensation), external pipework and other fittings, our installers will initially commence with the first layer, most importantly the insulation itself.  It is then topped with a base coat render and reinforcement mesh.  Finally, there are various textures and a wide range of colour finishes available to suit your requirements.

Overall as well as reducing heat loss and costs in the winter months, higher levels of insulation also helps to reduce buildings overheat in the summer months.  This also protects the building structure from daily environmental temperature and weather changes, giving a more stable  internal temperature for comfortable living and working conditions.
